Elmer Garfield Currie~(November 24, 1919 –~September 23, 2010)~Elmer Garfield Currie passed away peacefully on the first day of autumn in the Drumheller hospital following a brief illness. He was 90 years old. Elmer loved the land. He learned to farm from his parents, Herb and Lily Currie, who were pioneers in the Orkney district. JANZ - Our beloved mother, Dorothy, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a short, but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 89. She was born to Lloyd and Velma Hayne on April 6, 1921, at Didsbury, Alberta. Mom was raised in the Didsbury area and graduated from the Didsbury High School. GRANT, MARIE - Marie Ernestine Grant was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on July 19, 1928.  She passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010, at the age of 82 years. Marie was an inspiration to each person whose life she touched and will be remembered for her big welcoming smile, her warm hugs, and her unending quest for knowledge, which included daily episodes of Jeopardy with Alex Trebek.
