Wendy (Gerlitz) Boake of Acme passed away at the Three Hill Hospital July 28th, 2010. She bravely battled her cancer, all the while maintaining her sense of humour and dignity. Wendy was born to Ed and Joan Gerlitz of Swalwell June 24th, 1948. Wendy married Bob Boake and together they farmed east of Acme raising their buffalo. KNIEVEL - Sylvester passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 23 at the age of 66 years in Estevan, Sask. from a 3 month battle of a brain tumor. Sylvester was born on July 31, 1943, the ninth child of eleven to Anton and Ena Knievel. Sylvester schooled at Pontmain,Tro Val and SAIT. Sylvester married Carol Mann of Wilkie on April 20, 1974 and they lived in Manning, AB for 4 years, moving to Bienfait, Sask. in 1978 and making Bienfait his home for 32 years
