Elsie Baerg Barkman was born to John L and Margaret Wiebe Baerg on August 3, 1931. She passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, during a beautiful sunset the evening of January 10, 2021 at Westview Care Community. Doug passed away after a seven-year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Swalwell, raised on the farm in Sunnyslope, he started his welding apprenticeship in Linden and then at Renn Cupid in Calgary; starting a portable welding business in 1979.
