EMPEY, Larry Harvey

Larry was born at home in Swalwell to John and Mae Empey on July 28, 1942, and passed away on March 25, 2021, at the Three Hills Health Centre after a full and interesting life.

With his inquisitive mind, he invented many fascinating things and was interested in all things mechanical. He was also an artist at heart creating beautiful works of stained glass.

Dorothy Elsie Bergos, beloved wife of Alexander Bergos passed away peacefully in Drumheller, on February 22, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Mom was born on July 27, 1933 in Delia, Alberta. She was the only child of Francis and Elsie (Diegel) Porter. The family lived in Delia until the beginning of the war, at which time they moved to Ontario so Francis could serve in the army. Emma was born in Laschanowka, Ukraine, December 3, 1931. She emigrated to Canada in 1950. On April 9, 1953 she married Sig Schmidt of Three Hills.
