The Provincially recognized Seniors Week is fast approaching. The first week in June every year is designated as Seniors Week, a time we celebrate the many seniors in our communities. Seniors Outreach is proud to celebrate the many incredible seniors living in Kneehill County. We have schedule a variety of activities that will hopefully meet different interests. Here is a summary of the Seniors Week events planned for this year so don't miss out on any that pique your interest.
• On Friday, May 30, there is a Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra open rehearsal trip featuring music from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
• Sunday, June 1st is Super Senior Sunday and we encourage all churches in Kneehill County to recognize the seniors in their congregations/parishes in some way.
• If you like wildlife, you will enjoy the trip to the Sundre World of Wildlife museum on Monday, June 2. Over 150 animal mounts from all around the world.
• Back by popular demand on Monday, June 2, is Suzanne Sinclair offering ideas for sumptuous suppers. This is a very interactive, hands-on session that includes a meal.
