ATTENTION: CHANGE: The Granting by FCSSAA for the Frozen Meals on Wheels has been extended until the March 22, 2021 order date. Orders on the Frozen Meals on Wheels Grant will be limited in terms of WHAT ONE IS ABLE TO ORDER (10-14 Items per person) and our value of an order will be BETWEEN $80 TO $100 per person as we go forward. We will only be able to have a limited number of orders go in every two weeks. Please try to have your orders in Seniors Outreach as soon as possible as the order dates tend to fill up quickly and place them no later than the Thursday before the Monday order date. DO NOT CALL WHEATLAND FCSS. PLEASE CALL SENIORS OUTREACH at 403-443-2555. The next order date March 22, 2021 with the delivery dates on March 30, 2021. If you are not able to have your order in for the next order date, your order will be placed on the order list for one of the next 2 order dates. If you are paying via e-transfer funds to Wheatland Meals on Wheels, DO NOT DO SO before you have provided your order to Seniors Outreach and you will be given a date to do your e-transfer payment.
The frozen meals on wheels menu is available for seniors at the Seniors Outreach main office [128 – 3rd Ave S, Three Hills] in the Provincial Building or for those under age 65 at the KRFCSS office. You may work out your order on the telephone with the reception desk/staff at either location. Low-income adults and families should call Kneehill Regional FCSS at 403-443-3800 to order. Low-income seniors (Ages 65+) should call Seniors Outreach at 403-443-2555 or from the Carbon area 1-888-443-2555 to order.
CLIENT SERVICES: Until at least March 29, 2021, both the Main Office and the Extension Offices will be dealing ONLY with clients who make an appointment first, before coming into the offices. You will be expected to wear a mask/social distance and hand sanitize at your appointment. Thank you.
Seniors Outreach MAIN OFFICE is open for regular hours –Mondays to Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Extension Offices: will provide client services in person (by appointment) in Kneehill North: Trochu office at Frank VanderKley’s Law Offices – presently on Tuesdays & Wednesdays (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) Torrington office at the Arena is open by pre-made appointments on Thursdays (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.). Kneehill South; Acme office at the Acme Seniors Association – Thursdays (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Carbon at the New Horizon’s Centre – Tuesdays (9:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.) Linden at the 50+ Club (Care & Share Centre) – Thursdays (1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) Though the present situation continues to still be quite changeable, Seniors Outreach is taking phone calls/emails and making appointments. As such, you are welcome to email us at office@seniorso.ca or to call 403-443-2555 or from Carbon and area 1-888-443-2555 (toll free) for any assistance, to make a Meals on Wheels order, and/or to set up an in office appointment.
