On April 10, the Trochu Rifle & Pistol Association held its annual Kids Easter Shoot with 24 youth shooters.
The evening started with the sign-in of the shooters followed by a safety talk on firearm safety and range rules. The shooters were taken in age groups of three to the range where each shooter had a Range Safety Officer to assist them, the shooters in waiting were kept busy with games of bingo.
After the shoot and prizes had been awarded, everyone received pop and chips.
The winners of this year’s shoot were: Under 10 – Taylor Beeton, William Molendyk and Nathen Hogg. Under 13 – Jesalyn Beeton, Eric Regher and Jake Bernier. Under 16 – Hunter Swanson, Isabelle Reynolds and Luke Bernier. Also, in the picture is Ward Beeton, T.R.P.A. President.
