The Running Room Grand Prix #1 held in Edmonton on Saturday, September 9, marked the start of the Cross Country Season for the Prairie Pilots.
The conditions were ideal for the athletes. Josie Bennett with a time of 28.10 placed ninth in the 6 km.
On the men’s side Elijah Miller placed 18 with a time of 30.58, Lony Repetski 20th time of 31.27, Judah Sutherland 35.44 placed thirty-third, Owen Williams 37.52 placed forty-first, Gabriel Machalek placed forty-fifth with 40.07 and Asaph da Silva at 40.12 and 48th place.
There are seven on the team this season with Saulo Mara Oliveira the Coach again this season.
This Saturday the Cross Country Team will run at West Confederation Park in Calgary.
