For the first time since pre-Covid The Pilots Basketball team hosted a PAC Tournament on Saturday, November 25 this time against Millar as Burman had withdrawn earlier in the week, so it was Millar and Prairie going head to head for The PAC Championship.

In the first Women’s game, The Edge picked up from where they left off two weeks ago doubling the Pilots 80-40 with forward Nicole Hawn leading the Edge with 21 points. On the home side, Stephanie Quittenbaum was the top scorer with 15.

In the Men’s first game of the day, you just knew it was going to be a different game as both teams battled back and forth the entire way with Nathan Heibert pouring in 23 to lead The Edge. Nate Johnson led the Pilots’ offence with 25 points followed closely by Eljah Miller with 23 as The Pilots posted a two-point win.

In the final Women’s game it was almost a repeat of the last game with forward Van Quick scoring 27 points. For the Pilots it was once again Stephanie Quittenbaum with the most points 14. The Edge used stifling defense to shut down numerous rushes to the hoop and came away with a 77-31 win.

In the final game of the day, the game went right down to the wire with the Pilots winning 56-52 with Elijah Miller scoring 20 and Edge forward Nahum Heibert, the top point-getter for Millar.

Elijah was named Tournament MVP. Nate Johnson and Ray Green were named as Allstars on the Men's side and Stephanie Quittenbaum and Keaton Spenner received honours for the Ladies.

Pilots Head Coach Bob Murray said, “It was great to have basketball back on Campus and in The Community.”
