Three Hills Gymnastics Club Wraps Up 2022/2023 Season

Three Hills Gymnastics Club is soon wrapping up its 2022/2023 season. Recreation classes finished at the end of March, while the competitive classes will finish their season in mid-May. The gymnasts got to show off their skills and talents at the year-end performance on March 21, at the community center. The Trochu Dance Troupe presented their 2023 Spring Recital at the Trochu Community Center on the evening of May 2. The recital amounted to 12 performances both group and solo from beginner to senior. There was Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Tap and Preschool. The performance included over 30 performers. Kneehill Minor Hockey Association Hosts Annual Awards Night & AGM

The Trochu Hall came alive on Thursday, April 20, as the Kneehill Minor Hockey Association (KMHA) hosted its annual Awards Night and AGM. This was a special occasion for the association, as it was able to bring its members together to celebrate the talents and dedication of its players, coaches, and referees.

The Awards Night started off with the Jersey Presentations to the four Graduating players from KMHA: Peter Hildebrandt, Matthew Cunningham, Ethan Koch and Ian Ferguson.

Kohen McKiernan and Kayle Lammle, from Three Hills School, won the gold medal in the Intermediate Mixed Doubles category at the South Central Zone Badminton tournament this past weekend in Okotoks. This first-place finish has earned them a spot at the ASAA Provincial Badminton tournament in Lloydminster on May 5 and 6. Best of luck at Provincials!
