That's Life - August 17, 2022

Since the first day of summer holidays we’ve been bombarded with Back to School advertising on television.

Hopefully there are still a few of you out there who have yet to purchase your children’s school supplies.

It’s not a big deal to many of you to lay out whatever it takes to get your kids back to school but to others it’s a very stressful time trying to scrape up enough money to house, feed, dress and provide all of the tools listed as “must have” when the buzzer sounds to being the new school year.

That’s where the Tools for School program comes in. This program has been operating for about 20 years through the support of Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services and generous donations from people like you, local organizations and businesses.

If you need help you are in the right place. All you have to do is contact the Kneehill Regional FCSS office at 403-443-3800 or angie@krfcss.com to get the support you need.

If you can, please make a cash donation today to provide the cash required to purchase supplies like binders, scissors, calculators, pencils and more. If you would rather donation supplies or sponsor a child, call FCSS (403-443-3800) for a list of supplies needed.

Lets ensure that all of the students in Kneehill County start the year on the right foot with the school supplies they need to pave the way to getting the best education they can in our area schools.

Make cheques payable to Kneehill County - Tools For School. You can receive a tax-deductible receipt for donations over $25.

For more information on how you can donated call FCSS at 403-443-3800.
