It’s Back-to-School time for hundreds of students throughout Kneehill County.
Keep your eyes on the road as some youngsters might just dart out in front of you without looking in both directions.
When driving be sure to watch your speed as police will be keeping a close watch, especially in the early days of “Back to School”.
If you are a Three Hills area resident you could benefit a great deal by attending Three Hills Discovery Night today, September 6, 2023. It runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Three Hills Curling Rink. Gather information about local and regional services, agencies and clubs and explore volunteer opportunities.
With support from the Town of Three Hills and Prairie College, Lunch with Friends will be hosting a hot dog supper, with cookies and beverages, by donation. All proceeds will go to the Lunch with Friends program.
Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services has been coordinating Three Hills Community Discovery Night since 2004. This event is free of charge for all to attend. I would like to extend sincere thanks to Three Hills Beautification for the amazing job they have done in reviving the beautiful floral barrels throughout town. I think most of us thought the devastating hail storm of July 25 had killed any chance of recovery.
I have promoted the annual FCSS Tools for School program since its inception 21 years ago. Like the price of just about everything else, school supplies have gone up. Since 2002, the Tools for School program has been coordinated by Kneehill Regional FCSS and supported by generous community members, organizations and businesses. Your donations help to provide the supplies necessary to support our area youth’s academic success.
