The Countdown to Christmas is on and things are going to get more than a little busy around these parts.
It's Ladies Night at the Linden Cultural Centre on Thursday, Nov. 18. Acme's Christmas Market goes Saturday, Nov. 20 as does St. Paul's UCW Christmas Tea and Bazaar at the Trochu Hall and the Torrington Silver Willows Ham and Turkey Bingo at the Torrington Community Centre. The Three Hills Thrashers Teddy Bear Toss goes Saturday, Nov. 20 at the regular game time of 8p.m. Teddy Bears and other plush toys, collected at the game, will be distributed to children in need through the Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services.
Also coming up is the Golden Hills Lodge Tea and Craft Sale Thurs.,  Nov. 25 from 2-3:30 pm. Check out the sold-out Christmas Farmer's Market November 26 and 27 at the Three Hills Community Centre.
Don't miss "Home For Christmas", a Community Christmas Concert presented by the Three Hills Arts Academy November 26 and 27 at 7 pm at the North Auditorium Prairie College Campus. The Auditorium is located one block north of Mac's Convenience Store. Watch for signs. Admission is free.
Three Hills welcomes the ASAA 2A Girls Volleyball Provincials November 25-27. This will be a weekend of keen competition and great sportsmanship served up by some of the province's best. Be sure to come out and cheer on our local athletes. Twelve teams, parents and fans will be in town so this is a great opportunity to showcase our community and school to the province.
And Hey Kids! Kids Night Out goes Friday, November 26 upstairs at Centennial Place at 6 pm. If you don't know, Centennial Place is the Three Hills Arena. Doors open at 6 pm. It's totally free, so make sure you kids, 10 and under, don't miss it. Magician Paul Isaac will be featured. There will be free hog dogs, pop and candy bags for all to enjoy. Santa will arrive.
The Trochu Arboretum Society is hosting their 2nd annual Christmas Market Thursday, Dec. 2 from 3-7 pm at the Trochu Community Hall.
