March is Fraud Prevention Month.

This annual campaign was established to help us recognize, reject and report fraud.

This year’s theme, Tricks of the Trade: What’s in a Fraudster’s Toolbox?” will help us recognize the increasingly sophisticated tricks and tools scammers use to entrap victims.

Scammers target consumers and businesses.

The best way to avoid becoming a victim is to be informed and alert. Get to know the different types of scams and always report fraud.

The years have flown by and it became clear that we needed to downsize. That being said, we have sold our Main Street, Three Hills commercial properties.

Monday, February 27, 2023, was the final day that we were open to the public.

Well, we haven’t left the building quite yet, but as of Wednesday, March 1, 2023, we will be working remotely.

Capital Printers Ltd. has sold the commercial buildings but not the newspaper.

Deadlines will remain the same with Display ads needing to be in by Monday noon; Classified ads, including obituaries, by 3 pm Monday. All classifieds after 3 pm will go into our “Too Late to Classify” section.
