Break out the swimming suits and prepare to make a splash at the Three Hills Aquatic Centre.

I thought I would try and make the Aquatic Centre re-opening sound exciting but I’m having a hard time.

Yes, it re-opens on Tuesday, July 14. Yes, there are limitations in place to keep you safe from the spread of Covid-19.

There will be a maximum of 25 participants in the pool at one time. The usual maximum is about 200 so that will give everyone lots of opportunity for social distancing.

Canada Day comes but once a year on July 1. This is a very unusual year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of our beloved community celebrations, in and around Kneehill County have been cancelled in order to comply with social distancing. It’s hard to have a parade when we usually pack the roadside, with young and old alike.
