Dear Editor,
With reference to the recent letter concerning Banks financing oil and gas projects. While I appreciate the writer’s right to hold an opinion on this subject I totally disagree with his sentiments.
Although the environmental lobby in BC has lost virtually all the lawsuits they have raised against Oil and Gas projects in the province, they have now switched to shaming and bullying banks who loan money to oil companies for oil and gas projects.
Banks should be free to loan money to organizations they believe to be a good risk and ignore the extremists in the environmental movement.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Greenhalgh
