Remembrance Day Service At Carbon

Carbon Remembrance Banners

Dear Editor,

As is our custom we attended the Remembrance Day service at Carbon. Despite the politically correct and woke directives from above it was a true service with scriptures and prayer. Another great addition this year were 11 banners with pictures representing local service members, very tastefully done and sobering how young they looked in their uniforms. I am sure there will be more banners next year. As usual, I was impressed with the turnout and the young families instilling respect for Remembrance Day.

I contrast this respect with the hatred shown to Jews after the despicable Hamas attack on Israel. University students around the world are displaying their ignorance of history and denial of truth in their antisemitism. Our PM and his Liberal and NDP lackeys trying to sound as if they support Israel while pandering to their anti-Israel, pro-Hamas base. It is repulsive to see thousands of students in universities and more thousands of citizens in cities cheering Hamas and chanting gas the Jews and destroy Israel while we remember those who served, suffered and died fighting the Nazis. Shame. God warns in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.”
