It seems that the only thing we are hearing lately is how people are unhappy with the County and the Sunnyslope water line.
We wanted to state that, on the other hand, we have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and we support the County in their efforts to provide us with the water. Some folks are complaining about the cost but in our case, if we were to add up the cost of drilling water wells, pumps, water systems, tanks, etc., etc. over the past years; that price that the County is asking is a mere pittance of what we have already spent. I might add that the thousands of dollars spent did not guarantee the quality or quantity of our water.
We were very excited about the prospect of the water line and not having to worry about chlorinating, changing filter, re-bedding, pulling pumps, hauling water, shocking wells, etc., etc. and knowing that when we turn on the tap, water will, in fact, come out.
