Re: Albertans Have Been Told A Fantasy
Although the author makes some valid points on the politics which have harmed Alberta’s economy, I take exception to his comment that if I vote no to separation, I am a contented Albertan. This is far from what I truly believe. ALBERTA has not achieved its current level of success as a province by being contented. I still have faith that the rules of Confederation will change to better allow ALBERTA to be master of its own destiny, rather than be subjugated by Ottawa's policies. We are more than the breadbasket of Canada and must have more control over our economic future. This is just as rational an opinion as the authors', if not more Canadian.
