To the Editor;
I always enjoy reading Timothy Shearlaw's "That's Life". I especially enjoyed his last column where he said: "This electronic, techno-gossip column (Facebook), filled with anti-social networking is a loaded gun that is capable of destroying anyone or anything in its sites."
I believe that this wisdom does not only apply to the PBI situation, but to other situations as well.
Although I have lived in Trochu for less than three years, I have already seen two cases of gossip causing harm: one to an individual and another to a community project designed to promote outdoor exercise.
I hope people will take the "That's Life" advice to heart, and be more careful before forming false opinions based on gossip and hearsay.
