A few days before Christmas a local business owner came to our house and gave us a generous present as a thank-you for being a long-time loyal customer of his enterprise. This was an unexpected surprise, and it got me thinking about the subject of faithfulness. Kneehill County is fast becoming the county of choice for so-called “green” energy projects.

We are a group of concerned Kneehill County Ratepayers and we oppose the Lone Pine Wind Farm proposed for Kneehill County. This wind farm will have 50, 6mw turbines that will be 394 feet tall with blades that are 295 feet long. They will be spread over a large area of PRIME agricultural land and will directly affect over 70 households within a 5km radius of the proposed area. (
