I would like to take this opportunity to update you on the modernization project of Trochu Valley School. The architectural firm of Quinn Young Architects Ltd. from Calgary has been selected to do the project. Preliminary meetings are underway as they gather information before beginning drawings for our building. There will be opportunity for public feedback and input at a later date.

I always enjoy reading Timothy Shearlaw's "That's Life".  I especially enjoyed his last column where he said: "This electronic, techno-gossip column (Facebook), filled with anti-social networking is a loaded gun that is capable of destroying anyone or anything in its sites."

It has been often said that the true test of character of either an individual or an institution is how they behave in an hour of trial or crisis. As one of the thousands of graduates of the oldest Bible Institute in Canada, I am dismayed by the responses of my Alma Mater, PBI, this past week.
