I noted your article in the Aug 4/11 edition of The Capital regarding the recent Trochu School Reunion.
May I add to that story that in conjunction with that Reunion, the Classes of 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 raised over $18,000 for a multi-year $1500 per annun Scholarship Award to Trochu Grade 12 students, commencing with the 2011-2012 school year. The Award is estimated to last for in excess of 15 years.

To the Editor;
I put my garbage out on my front boulevard as instructed last Wednesday night. It was bagged and tied.  During the night, some animals must have gotten into it.
Had I disposed of my trash in the back as in the past, it would have been in a garbage bin and much less likely to have been accessed by animals. Even if there were a mess, it would not be out in the open for ALL to see.
Please vote to let us return to back alley pick up and keep our streets clean and as uncluttered as po

I find it very odd that the CNR can pay their CEO $17.3 million in 2009 - but we in Three Hills have to chip our teeth and wreck our vehicles when we cross their three local railway crossings.
These have been a mess for a long time.
This man was the second highest paid CEO in Canada!

Anyone who works in the disability services field can tell you that the major issue in the sector is low staff wages.
