Re: A Shocking, Violent and Tragic End
Having moved to the blissful little town of Three Hills just one year ago, I was rather shocked to read about a dog that was kidnapped and had her throat slit. I guess I had been feeling somewhat immune to the larger centre's problems until now.

They are such community boosters. They constantly give donations to groups and organizations which are trying to raise funds; they let groups return unused items for a refund.

Dear Editor;
This spring my husband, Don, suffered a minor spinal stroke, ended up with paralyzed legs, and spent weeks in the acute section of our local hospital. Thankfully, he has now been admitted to Continuing Care (CC).
Thus I feel qualified to make some personal comments on this facility, as well as the article by Evelyn Howe in the June 29 issue of The Capital. We appreciated her in-depth analysis, concerns, questions, and suggestions for improvement.
