I would like to give a tribute to Lynn Gustafson - for all the years that he has brought smiles and laughter and lots of hands-on interaction with his animals to my Husband and I, our girls and the many friends that we have taken or met at the GUZOO! THANK YOU!
Lynn has got to be a 'one of a kind' kind of guy! He's someone you won't forget, for he makes everyone feel welcome who walks through his gates!

My daughter was born almost 18 years ago. The front page of the Calgary Herald, on the day of her birth, showed Lynn Gustafson, owner of the Guzoo, with his new lion cub, Wallace. We visited the Guzoo in the coming months. We met Wallace and all the other animals - they became well known to our children.
Over the years we have cuddled baby tigers, held baby rabbits, fed the pot bellied pigs and imitated the doves. We have been able to see animals that otherwise would have been unk

My family and I are really going to miss the GuZoo.
My son Rik, who now lives in Victoria, posted a note on his face book that said, 'A visit to Three Hills will never be the same again.' Their two kids could not get enough of the pen full of gerbils. They'd go and look at some of the other animals, but had to hurry back to play with the gerbils.
Last year, my 16 year old granddaughter, Cami, and three of her friends persuaded Julie to bring them all to the GuZoo on a flex Friday

The GuZoo Animal Farm would like to make some statements.
The report based on a 108 point inspection that supposedly contributed in part to the governments decision to decommission the zoo, is full of lies and assumptions.
The report was based on a point system.  Scoring 0 to 3.  0 meaning non-compliant and unlikely to be able to, and 3 meaning exceeds Zoo Standards.  GuZoo lost points and often scored 0 simply because the inspector failed to ask provision of information.
